The Lord is my Shepherd. I have all that I need.

I have strength to work in my yard, walk on the bike trail, put together a stroller.

I have food to make three meals a day.

I have family who love me, grandchildren who adore me, friends I can count on.

I have a bed to sleep in, clothes to wear, protection from the elements.

Today I am grateful for my blessings. The sun shone, the birds sang, the world rejoiced.

Today I reminded myself that the Lord is my Shepherd. I have all that I need!

In the gospel of John, Jesus said these words:

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep….I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me.

John 10:11, 14

I take comfort that He is my shepherd and he knows I am his sheep. He is with me and willingly sacrifices for me.

I have all that I need.
